This marketing quote has been attributed to Vince Lombardi, Vidal Sassoon, and Mark Twain, among others. But it appears to have originated in a column by a sports writer. Regardless of the source, it effortlessly encapsulates an obvious idea that it is all too easy to lose sight of in our daily journey.
Because of its possible origin, some people might say this is a sports quote and not a marketing quote. Others might say it is a general life quote. But they’re not the ones writing this post.
So marketing quote it is.
